Zachary "Zack" Apollo Gillikin

Zachary (Zack) Apollo Gillikin was blessed to Donnie W. Gillikin and Denaca Murray on December 24, 2010, at the age of 6 weeks old. He was born in Morehead City, N.C.

Zack left us at 2:42 pm on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Austin Veterinary Animal Hospital in Beaufort, NC.

He was full of life to have 4 legs. Zack loved to play with his toys and wag his tail. He was a very smart & happy dog. He always got spoiled with treats, belly rubs, and nibbling on his mom’s fingers and more. He enjoyed being around people. Zack’s favorite snack was ice cubes. He loved to sit in your lap and sometimes he would give you kisses.

Zack is survived by father, Donnie Gillikin of Smyrna; mother, Denaca Murray of Beaufort; brother, Jackson Gillikin of Beaufort; two sisters, Sandra Gillikin of Otway, and Jade Gillikin of Harkers Island; two aunts, Ava Bryant (Chris) of Beaufort, and Maye Wilson of Wilmington; two uncles, Roy Murray Jr. of Beaufort; Mark Gillikin (Paula) of Otway; grandparents, Roy & Christeen Murray of North River, and Leta Gillikin of Smyrna; and a host of cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Donnie Gillikin; and a host of other relatives.
